Ok, Obviously I can't say or give anything away. I finished it at 3 am this morning. A day and a half of hard reading, but I've read almost all of the books that way. Marathon!
I will say, that the story makes complete and utter sense...Ms. Rowling is happy with it and so am I.
Mother, when you finally catch up and have read the end then please post a discussion so we can actually talk about it. (She's so far behind! Only on book 5!!)
Happy reading! :)

Dang!!! I don't know if I can wait for my neighbor to read it without just going and getting my own copy.
I couldn't wait, bought my copy yesterday afternoon and am on pg 300 something. Hoping to finish it tonight. Of course, this would be the week we are at our busiest at work, and all I can think about is rushing home to read Harry Potter. On the other hand, I almost don't want to finish it. I'm a little heartbroken that this will be my last read of Mr. Potter. A big "Cheers" to the richest woman in England, J.K. Rowling! :)
Lol, well we don't need two copies in the family! Ask her how far along she is...I could mail it tomorrow! :)
I know Nat, I couldn't help NOT finishing it last night tho-- I'd have short moments where I'd stop for a bit so it could all sink in...and so I could think about it. B/c I hadn't refreshed what happend in book 6, so a few times I was trying to rememeber.
I think she did an amazing job with the whole story.
I am so pleased with this series-- I think that this is the Star Wars of this generation, characters immortalized for all time. I have truly loved these books- I'll miss you Harry, Ron, Ginny, Hermione, Dumbledore...!!!!!!!!!!
I am happy to report that Jacob is reading an HP book...#6...he figures that he knows enough of the story from having seen the first 5 movies, but with all the recent hype about the series ending (and he's currently grounded from tv, computer, and electronic games), he decided to jump in to one. When I went over tonight he was reading one and Lindsey was reading one. Good for them!!
Thanks Kari! Got the book in Thursday mail. Got about 1/2 way through last night before deciding I must turn out the light and go to sleep at 12:30. Can't wait to get home from work tonight and finish!!! (NO, I didn't dare bring it to work to read during lunch...I would not have been able to stop once I picked it back up.)
yay! glad you got the book! :) enjoy & happy reading!
Just finished #7!! Whew! What a literary ride! What an amazing, imaginative story! Sorting hats off to J. K. Rowling!! Lindsey is waiting with much anticipation for me to deliver the books so she can read it...
Now, thank goodness, I won't have to watch what I might accidentally read that gives it all away.
